We, InfoTech Law Offices, specialize in intellectual property, antitrust law, international transactions, international litigation and other corporate legal matters. We also handle general civil and commercial law matters. Criminal law and family law matters are not in our practice.

Intellectual Property

In the field of patent, copyright, trademark, design, trade secret and other intellectual property, our services include preparation of contracts, legal consultation, representation in infringement suits, and prosecution for registration. Many of our intellectual property matters relate to patent and copyright to computer and network technologies. We also assist clients in music and other entertainment businesses.

Antimonopoly Law

We provide legal advice on antitrust law issues and prepare contracts for technology transfer, joint business, joint development, agency and distributorship, joint venture and other corporate transactions. We also provide legal advice, prepare application documents with JFTC and contracts for mergers and acquisitions.

International Transaction

We provide legal advice and prepare contracts for joint investment, technology transfer, joint business, joint development, agency and distributorship, joint venture and other international transactions between Japanese and foreign corporations.

International Litigation

For Japanese clients involved in litigation in the United States and other countries, we develop litigation strategy and coordinate local attorneys. We also assist foreign clients involved in litigation in Japan.

Other Corporate Matters

In addition to above matters, we handle incorporation of Japanese subsidiaries for foreign corporations entering Japanese market and legal matters associated with their businesses in Japan; advise our corporate clients on capital increases and other financial transactions and on shareholders' meetings associated with them; and conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

General Civil and Commercial Law Matters

In conjunction with above matters, or upon the request of our corporate clients, we handle family law matters, probate matters, and other general civil and commercial law matters.
